The Bruton Bench

A solid pine bench, handcrafted to order in Somerset — and built to go wherever it's needed most.

Pull it up to a dining table. Set it by the front door. Place it at the foot of a bed. The Bruton Bench is as versatile as it is well-made, finished in the same Osmo Polyx-Oil Tints as the rest of the Bruton range — a plant-based, food-safe oil that brings out the natural character of the pine without masking it.

The White finish gives the pine a soft, whitewashed character that lifts the natural grain — a clean, Scandinavian-inspired look that brightens any space. Paired with your choice of powder-coated steel legs, it works equally well in a coastal kitchen, a Nordic-style hallway, or a bright bedroom.

Made to your specification

Choose your width from 80cm up to 180cm, at a standard 40cm depth and 43cm seat height — the right proportion for dining, hallway, or bedroom use. The top comes in a standard 32mm thickness, or upgrade to a 40mm version for a chunkier, more substantial feel.

All our Box Frame Legs are handmade in England, UK.

▪ The metal legs have been cleaned & prepped along with a black powder-coated finish.

▪ Our legs may vary slightly in colour & texture as they are handmade.

▪ All our rustic furniture is supplied in flat pack form, assembly is simple & takes 15 minutes.

Colour

This Bench is finished in Osmo White — a soft whitewashed tone that brings out the natural grain of the solid pine.

Care Guide

When cleaning your furniture use a clean, dry, non-abrasive cloth. For this product we recommend Osmo Spray Cleaner.

Solid wood is a natural living, breathing material that ages over time. It has characteristics that include cracks in the wood, knots, mineral deposits, inclusions, as well as grain and pigment variations (sometimes wood filler is required) some natural movement is to be expected. However, these things do not interfere with the structural integrity.
