The Bruton is our solid pine dining table with a rich ebony finish, handcrafted to order from our Somerset workshop. It combines clean, contemporary lines with the warmth of natural wood — a versatile centrepiece for your kitchen or dining room.
The ebony finish gives the pine a striking, deep tone while still allowing the natural grain to show through. Paired with your choice of steel leg style, it works equally well in a farmhouse kitchen, a modern open-plan living space, or a formal dining room.
Available in a range of widths (80–200cm) and depths (50–80cm), with four leg style options to suit your space. Standard thickness is 32mm; however, I can also do a version that is 40mm thick, or make the table to your exact custom size — please contact me for a quote.
Want the tabletop on its own? Choose the “Tabletop no legs” option to buy just the solid wood top (available in 32mm or 40mm thickness) — supplied as the tabletop only, with no legs, screws or fittings. Ideal if you already have a base, trestles or your own legs.

Leg height is 71cm, and the top adds its own thickness on top, so the total height is 74.2cm with a 32mm top, or 75cm with a 40mm top.

All our Box Frame Legs are handmade in England, UK.
▪ The metal legs have been cleaned & prepped along with a black powder-coated finish.
▪ Our legs may vary slightly in colour & texture as they are handmade.
▪ All our rustic furniture is supplied in flat pack form, assembly is simple & takes 15 minutes.

Every piece is made to your measurements, so I can't accept a return because you've changed your mind. Please check your sizes before ordering, and email me first if you're unsure.
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, email adrian@thesomersetworkshop.com straight away and I'll put it right with a repair, replacement or refund. Your statutory rights are not affected.

When cleaning your furniture use a clean, dry, non-abrasive cloth. For this product we recommend Osmo Spray Cleaner.
Solid wood is a natural living, breathing material that ages over time. It has characteristics that include cracks in the wood, knots, mineral deposits, inclusions, as well as grain and pigment variations (sometimes wood filler is required) some natural movement is to be expected. However, these things do not interfere with the structural integrity.
