The Somerton is our monitor shelf desk, handcrafted from solid pine with a wax oil stain finish. Built to order from our Somerset workshop, it combines the clean lines of The Bruton with an integrated monitor shelf that raises your screen to the perfect eye level.
The stain finish brings out the natural grain of the pine, giving each desk its own character. The raised shelf keeps your monitor off the main surface, freeing up space and reducing desk clutter — making it equally at home in a dedicated home office or a living space that doubles as a workspace.
Available in a range of widths (80–200cm) and depths (50–80cm), with six leg style options to suit your space. Standard thickness is 32mm; however, I can also do a version that is 40mm thick, or make the desk to your exact custom size — please contact me for a quote.
